From routine care to boarding my dogs always get the very best care at Johnstown Veterinary Associates! Toby and Leo both see Dr. Assad and he has always been wonderful with them. The doctors and staff are amazing, knowledgeable, compassionate, and always very friendly! They truly care about your pets and treat them as if they were their own. I cannot say enough great things about this practice!

This is one of the very best veterinary hospitals in the area. All of the lab work is done on site, as well as progressive new treatments, x-ray services, and a full up to date operating room. The staff is very friendly, and knowledgeable. Boarding and grooming services are available. UP to date security cameras and systems are in place for safety, and they also have a back up generator system for animal safety should the power fail. Boarding areas are clean and well kept, properly ventilated. This is the best place for animal care in the Johnstown area.

We received the best care for our cat Tigger he was very sick .Dr Assad examined him and seen that to our amazement he had some very bad teeth.They took him in within the next week ,did wonderful work on him he is doing so good.JVC and Dr Assad ,and staff are great.Thank-you all for your compassionate care for our Tigger. Took both dogs in at same time so there was less stress on them. The techs & Vet were very caring and efficient.

We really appreciated the care we received here. Our elderly cat was sick and we needed an appointment right away. They were the only vet in the area that could get us in right away. Due to kitty's health, she sadly passed during her visit. The vet and staff were very compassionate and caring to me and my children during such a hard time. They really tried to help. I would definitely recommend them for families with pets.

We had just moved to the Johnstown area and had difficulty finding a vet that was taking new patients. We were able to be seen within a month by this practice and the care for our dog and cat was exceptional. When we needed to board our dog, they made sure to contact the kennel with his vaccination information and educated us on the timing of his vaccinations. When our dog was very elderly and ill, the doctor and other staff were very compassionate and accommodating to me as I said goodbye to my sweet pet.

I just happened to rescue a 2-year-old English pointer mix and was told that she was great with other animals especially dogs, unfortunately that was completely untrue and on December 2nd my baby ended up getting into an altercation/dogs fight with another canine and she ended up severely injured with multiple dog bite marks and wounds, and I needed to get her to a veterinarian ASAP. With me just recently rescuing her I did not have her established with a vet just yet and so I was recommended to JVA by my sister(Katie) and her vets office. Upon arriving Janelle instantly Took My Baby Lila from my arms and rushed her back to see the doctor and they took such great care of her and got her all fixed up and sutured up. They were such amazing people they left me know what was going on with her and how she was doing. Unfortunately she had to go in as an emergency visit because it was late in the evening so my baby ended up staying two nights total there at the Vets and they took care of her and loved on her like she was their own fur baby. It was such a great experience for me dealing with them and so now I am establishing them as my vet for now on with her and just scheduled her for an appointment for early January. I HIGHLY recommend JVA to everyone and anyone I know!! Thank you to the veterinarian and all of the staff that was apart of my baby's care.

Took my 14 year old Papillon to see the doctor about her cancer. Doctor was honest, caring and thorough about her condition. I appreciate the way they treated her and us. Pricing is fair and reasonable. Staff is always friendly and kind. Highly recommend this Vet for any of your needs. Tyson Long
